This chapter ties together all of the different strands of knowledge from the preceding chapters, and shows how they fit together in practice. By looking at a register of title for an imaginary piece of land in ‘Maryford, Greenfordshire’, it provides a step-by-step guide through each of the entries on the register, to build up a complete picture of all of the rights and interests in the land. The discussions cover the register of title, the property register, the proprietorship register, the charges register, and interests not shown on the register. It highlights the main points of substantive law which have been discussed in detail in each of the chapters of the book.
